Hi guys, so I’m back with another moisturizer review and I’m pretty excited about this one. I recently reviewed POND’S Light Moisturizer that you can read here and today I will be talking about POND’S Super Light Gel which I had been eagerly waiting on to try.

POND’S Super Light Gel is an oil-free, lightweight moisturizer, infused with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance in our skin. Its main function is to retain water to keep our tissues well lubricated and moist but as we age HA depletes from our skin hence it’s always good to introduce HA based products in your skincare regime at the right time to keep it hydrated.

The moisturizer comes in a premium, transparent tub packaging. The gel inside which is aqua blue in color, denotes hydration. Some of you might find the scent a bit synthetic but it doesn’t linger. The texture is like a gel and spreads like dream. It gets absorbed quickly leaving my skin soft and since it is gel based it doesn’t feel greasy at all. Despite the lightness of the formula, it provides 200%* instant hydration which leaves your skin well hydrated and dewy with that water fresh glow. I have a combination skin type with an oily T-zone.

It’s been over a week now that I am using this moisturizer. I have used it both as a day and night moisturizer and also under makeup. During the day I apply this moisturizer with sunscreen and it feels super hydrating. At night, this goes on my face as the last step in my skincare regimen. Works well under makeup as well. You can apply as much as you want and the product seeps into the skin really quickly and doesn’t leave any white residue. The weather is a bit chilly now and this moisturizer seems to be working perfectly for me.

Overall, I really like this product as it makes the perfect daily moisturizer for me. It claims to provide 200%* instant hydration giving your skin a water fresh glow and it truly does that. It’s hydrating, super lightweight and not heavy on the pocket. It hasn’t caused me any breakouts and I feel it would suit combination and oily skin more although the product is for all skin types.
