My Review:
Dainty was the first MAC blush I ever purchased. I was looking for an everyday pretty pink and didn't want something overpowering and gladly I found it! It's a lovely quaint pink that would probably work for a variety of skin tones - not too cool, not too warm but I'm afraid it won't work for people with deeper skin tones.
The thing I love most about this blush is it is so effortless, no elaborate blending or dealing with any patchiness required. Just a few swipes on each cheek, and you're good to go. It has a very subtle golden sheen to it, but this doesn't transfer to the skin. The texture is soft and the finish is satin with micro shimmer which looks like a highlight and brightens the face. Nothing sparkly.
It has semi-opaque pigmentation. The application is similar just like any other baked blush - you build them up. But make sure to watch out for that if you have a heavy hand when applying makeup.
I generally find the wear time with mineralized blushers isn't as long as normal blushers. I get 5 hours at a push with this which obviously isn't ideal so don't expect it to last until the end of the day.
Overall, Dainty is a great everyday colour. I use it on a daily basis. With the right amount of shimmer, it gives me a healthy glow and defines my face in a subtle way. For me this shade is so work appropriate but I just wish it lasted longer! Also, with such little amount of product needed per use, this will last you a long time, so I consider the price to be reasonable.
Pros:
- Gives the perfect glow.
- Looks natural.
- Blends effortlessly.
- Pigmentation is buildable.
- No fallouts.
- Not glittery.
- Doesn't make pores visible.
- Might not work for people with deeper skin tones.
- Not for you if you like it super pigmented.
- Average wear time.
- Might be heavy on pocket for some.
4/5

This looks absolutely beautiful, and with it not being heavily pigmented would be perfect for work! I'll definitely be considering it in the future xo
