 My Review:
Maybelline Great Lash mascaras are very hard to find. Waterproof was the very first mascara I used which was some 8 years ago and I haven't found it since then. This tube you see in the pictures is actually the same one. Yes, I still have it in case I have to show it to the shopkeeper. I kinda get attached to things y'know. =D Anyway, I'm still hunting for it and recently found Blackest Black.

 Let's first talk about Great Lash Waterproof. I used to wear this everyday to college as part of my 'natural' makeup and it didn't budge at all. It'd stay throughout the day, even when I'd terribly sweat. It doesn't coat too much on at once or flake and separates lashes perfectly. It'd lengthen my lashes and didn't look fake. And no raccoon eyes thank God! It can be a little difficult to remove tho.

 Now Great Lash Blackest Black. I find it stays on quite nicely but not as much as the Waterproof formula. It certainly isn't waterproof, but it's not claiming to be. It truly is the blackest black I have found when it comes to mascara. No crunchy dry brittle lashes that flake and no feeling of weighed down eye lids. Lastly, a very important factor in liking a mascara, easy removal.

 I find the packaging cute and travel friendly. Both buildable and they never clump for me. The wand is super easy to use, I can even do my lower lashes. They both have a wet formula so be careful. And they don't irritate my eyes.

 Overall, they're both really good as day to day product. Nothing special but better than anything else for this price. Go on easy, non gloopy and stay on quite well. If you want to achieve a less is more look, nothing glam, than these are definitely for you.

    This seems a must buy, and easy to take off..hope they have a Brown or that dark gray shade soon..I'm definitely going to hunt this water proof one too.

    I remember saving the tube of my first mascara, which was a Rimmel Extra Super Lash, forever too. :') I loved it so much that like you, I felt attached! :D I have been looking for new mascaras to get and this sounds great plus I feel surprised by the price tag!
