My Review:
Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream comes in 3 shades – 01 Light, 02 Medium and 03 Dark which is great because one common gripe I hear about BB creams is their lack of colour shades. Shade 02 goes with my skin tone.

It comes in a green nifty squeeze tube with a flip cap which makes it sanitary and travel friendly. The colour of the flip cap depicts the shade. It smells like tea tree oil which is very strong. The formula is thicker than usual BB creams, but blendable and creamy. One needs to set it with powder or it might look shiny.

It gives a sheer to medium buildable coverage. It won't work for you if you have highly pigmented spots or redness or dry patches, it basically covers just really light brown spots. If you have dry skin, it might sit on top so you better moisturize first. In addition, there's not much oil control. It sets pretty fast, so work in small sections. It feels light and has a matte finish.

I have combination skin and luckily I don't have acne but I do have dark under eye circles, slight discolouration and brown spots. This BB cream didn't give me the coverage I need (which isn't a lot), so I only use it for my 'no make up' days to even out my complexion a bit. It didn't break me out. It lasts for around 3 hours on me, then I get a little oily.

Overall, I find this BB Cream moisturizing and good for everyday use. However, I had higher expectations from it since it costs as much as a great drugstore foundation. It won't last you throughout the day and will only hide minor flaws. May be those with normal to dry skin with occasional blemishes would enjoy this.

Pros:
  • Gives light to medium coverage.
  • Suitable for normal to dry skin.
  • Natural-looking finish.
  • Lightweight and blendable.
  • Conceal minor blemishes.
  • Comes in three shades.
  • Doesn't break out or transfer.
  • Packaging is sanitary and travel friendly.

Cons:
  • Not too suitable for combination/oily skin.
  • Thick formula.
  • Scent is overpowering.
  • Concealer needed to hide blemishes completely.
  • Doesn't cover acne/acne scars well.
  • Shade selection can be tricky.
  • It has no SPF.
  • Pricey.

My Rating:
3/5

  8. Aww thanks for the honest review I really needed to know those pointers especially that it's not worth it for combination to dry skin and doesn't give good coverage! It's pretty expensive for just being useful for everyday use right :(
