My Review:
In winters, lips tend to get dry and flaky. And as the weather is finally chilly now in Karachi, I thought about reviewing this lip balm I keep on repurchasing every year.

Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm comes in a white tube with a plastic green screw cap. The tip of the tube is slanted, so you need to squeeze the tube and you don't have to use your finger to apply. It has a gel like consistency and I like how it is not too slippery. The lip balm isn't tinted and gives shine and softens the lips well. I apply it before hitting the bed at night and wake up with soft and moisturized lips and also during the day.

As it is a herbal product, it has 100% herbal actives and no chemicals. It contains:

  • Coconut oil - an emollient and moisturizes lips.
  • Castor oil - relieves inflammatory conditions.
  • Wheatgerm oil - an antioxidant and rich source of Vitamin E which is very good for moisture loss.
  • Carrot seed oil - an antioxidant contains Vitamin A and slows down aging process.

All in all, I'm quite happy with the product. I barely get chapped lips during winters. You only need a tiny blob, so it lasts for a couple of moths and is great for price too. Plus, it has 20 SPF which is great!

Pros:
  • Moisturizes and heals lips.
  • Travel friendly.
  • Contains 20 SPF.
  • Herbal actives. No chemical formula.
  • Hygienic.
  • Colourless.
  • Budget friendly.
Cons:
  • Too greasy to be used in summers.
  • May not be available all around the globe.
My Rating:
4/5

Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm costs 110 PKR and can be purchased from any drugstore nationwide.
