My Review:
Cindy-Lou Manizer is a gorgeous subtle peachy pink shimmery shade (with just a hint of rose gold) that can be used as a highlighter, blush or eye shadow. It comes in a whimsical packaging with a generously sized mirror inside. There's a lot of product and a little goes a long way. The texture is very soft and buttery but it is indeed a powder. Also it does not have chunky glitter which is a plus.

It's highly pigmented. You barely need to touch your highlighter brush with this to pick up a lot of product. Apply with a light hand very subtle and it gives a pretty glow. Don't go overboard or it will look terrible.

For day wear I find it a bit too shimmery, but it's a flattering highlighter for evening events. Also, I like applying it over lighter blushes for a finishing touch, gives a really pretty look. On my wheatish complexion it does not give a lot of obvious colour but a rosy warmth with a tint of bronze. My skin glows with a luminous sheen that lasts for 8 hours at least. I think the peachy hue might not show up too well on darker skin yet it will still leave a natural glow. On fair complexion it might appear too dark as a highlighter because it is so pigmented but definitely blendable. In my opinion, Mary Lou makes an amazing highlighter for pale skin.

The downside is, it is quite fragile. Don't travel with it as it has a soft texture which makes it prone to breaking. It is loosely packed reason being it's heavy on pigment which keeps the ingredients soft and not as compact. Also it's very soft to touch. So you need to be very careful with that.

Overall, Cindy-Lou Manizer is a beautiful peachy pink colour that would make a lovely blush and highlighter that lasts pretty good. It has the right amount of shimmer and gives a sheen finish. I haven't tried it in my inner corners yet.

Pros:
  • The colour is a beautiful peachy pink shade.
  • Gives a natural glow.
  • It does not appear patchy.
  • Does not appear too glittery.
  • Smooth texture. Blends easily.
  • Lasts a long time on face.
  • Good amount of product for the price.

Cons:
  • The packaging is not travel-friendly.
  • It is fragile. Might even break in the pan.
  • It doesn't work for you.

My Rating:
4/5
