Mediterranean Tapas at Avari Towers
Back with another food festival review at Avari Towers and this time it's Mediterranean Tapas! A tapa, in Spanish cuisine, is basically an appetizer or a snack. So the festival had hot and cold food items displayed on the buffet in small portions and one can enjoy individually displayed food miniatures according to their desire.
Now coming to the presentation, the food looked gorg! So good looking it should be illegal to eat it kinda gorg! But the food was as pleasing to the mouth was it was to the eye. One bites I know but trust they were more than enough and it go so full. lol
The menu was really good and diverse. All sorts of Mediterranean breads, Feta Cheese and Tomato Brochette, Mini Pita Pocket with Eggplant & Tahini dips, Chicken &cheese ball with garlic mayo, Chicken souvlaki, Mediterranean onion tart, Mediterranean quiche, Meatballs, Chicken Samosas, Mini Baked Potatoes and many many moreee!! Towards the end of our meal we were served hot and crispy Tempura Prawns and Calamari. Everything tasted so fresh!
This time the desserts were quite different from what Avari usually serves. One bite sized and pleasing to the eye. Churros con chocolate, Lemon parfaits, Tiramisu in a Spoon, Lemon Meringue
Panna cotta with apricot /coconut in short glass, Orange and lemon tart, Baklawa, Vanilla Mille Feuille, Caramel Slice, Coffee Éclairs
Cappuccino Cream in Glass, Chocolate Truffle Cake Vanilla Profiterole, White Chocolate & Raspberry Mousse in Glass.
The buffet price is 2300 plus tax per head.
